 anyway ive fished aberavon and the west pier a few times and only whiting a few small codlets and a flattie, aint blanked this year YET.

   2 of us are fishing morfa beach next sat night for the raymonds i know its early but its worth a shot the tides are perfct...low water 11.15pm and 11.4m rising tides  ohhhheerrr.

After parking at Lavernock Point and then walking too the spit I was cream crackered (should have taken a ruck sack rather than my seat box). The wind was a cold easterly and after 2 hours not even a bite although did have a branch, sadly I lost the tree and my leader. Packed up and went to the knap anything for easy fishing. Weather was chilly but as the sun came out it felt nice, so with best intentions i had 2 rigs baited with my favorite white chocolate bollies and added 2 pva bags for the temptation. As i was reading my book the one near the margins decided to scream off which made me jump up and nearly throw my book into the water   .
